Irina Marques grew up with several influences. He was born in Lisbon in 1982 and at the age of seven he moved to Braga. He lived in Porto for nine years, where he graduated and worked.

His references come from studies, curiosities, books, other artists (past and contemporary), travel, music and nature.

With a degree in Visual Arts, History of Art at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto and a postgraduate degree in Tourist Information and Heritage by the Polytechnic Institute of Management and Technology in Vila Nova de Gaia, she followed her path through the universe of the arts, participated in for short periods in theater groups, music, photography, among other artistic manifestations, which he studied.

The connection with other social activities and cultures enriched his sensitivity. It was through contact with other cultures and other peoples that he gained a broader view of the world, opening up to new horizons.

For her, art questions, transforms, modifies, does not remain stagnant in time, art is relative and is a huge universe in constant mutation. It is a daily learning process, a struggle that the artist translates from something very personal into something visible with a lot of dedication and persistence, often the result of periods of great questioning.
